The construction of the Church of San Francisco Javier began in 1744 and was completed in 1759.  Climbing into Giganta’s Sierra mountain range by an air conditioned Mercedes van, this expedition takes you into the past and lasts approximately three (3) hours.  Visit the real remains of an old Jesuit mission, stroll through the towns cobblestone streets filled with fruit orchards and the oldest olive gardens in Baja.  After a day of touring the village we will stop for an authentic Mexican lunch.  On our journey back explore ancient cave paintings at “Cuevas Pintas” and enjoy panoramic view making this an outstanding cultural encounter.
